22.02.2008 - Barack Obama and Gotham
A recent post at the Helvetica: the Film blog talks about Barack Obama's almost exclusive use of the typeface Gotham in his political campaign. On a similar note: Steve Heller wrote an article about POTUS Typographicus, President Bush's various typographic crimes pandering to the lowest-common denominator. As terrible as Bush's typographic legacy has been, the fact that most of it was pre-meditated makes the whole thing down right... dirty.
